Meet our newest edition...Baby Monti

Weighing in at 1 pound 15 ounces and at a length of just 18 inches, our newest edition arrived just in time to kick off the much anticipated WVU Football season. Baby Monti, the smaller version of the First Edition "Monti the Mountaineer Bear" arrived at WVU Hospitals on August 25th.
To commemorate his arrival, a celebration complete with cake and balloons was held at The Friends Gift Shop, WVU Hospitals.
Baby Monti is the second in the Monti series, he features a wind up tail which plays the popular John Denver song, "Country Roads", also played after the WVU ballgames by the Pride of West Virginia, the WVU Marching Band.
