Monti and the First Ladies of West Virginia

Susan Hardesty the First Lady of West Virginia University and Gayle Manchin the First Lady of West Virginia pose with Monti, the West Virginia black bear created exclusively for Friends Gift Shop at WVU Hospitals.

Monti has made many appearances throughout the state including 2 appearances on WCHS TV's, Good Morning West Virginia.

4000 Monti bears arrived in Morgantown, West Virginia in late November 2006, within 1 month nearly 2500 bears had sold.

Don Nehlen, former WVU football coach and 2005 Football Hall of Fame inductee, autographed a 42" golf themed table to benefit the patients of WVU Hospitals.

Don Nehlen and Shelly Poe, (the WVU Sports Information Director) sat at this table during the signing of their book (Tales from the West Virginia Sidelines).
